Mechanical Systems, Inc. maintains a fleet of fully stocked service trucks at our Columbia, Maryland location in order to provide 24 hour, 7 day a week service to our service and maintenance customers. We take pride in our ability to meet the heating & air conditioning needs of some of the Maryland area's largest corporations, banks, and property management companies.
We continue to specialize in the service and installation of all types of automatic temperature control systems, including electric, electronic, direct digital and pneumatic systems. Steven F. Poore, Owner and President, has 30 years of experience working in the HVAC industry. He oversees daily office and corporate operations, maintains customer relationships and is responsible for energy management and building automation projects. Steve has his Journeyman’s license in Maryland and Washington DC, and holds certifications in CFC, BGE Smart Energy Savers and Johnson Controls Facility Explorer. Steve is a graduate of the Steamfitter’s Local 602 Apprenticeship School.
Robert M. Poore, Owner and Vice President, has 25 years of experience in the HVAC industry. He is responsible for business development and maintaining existing customer relationships. Bobby has his Maryland Master’s HVAC License, Anne Arundel County Master’s HVAC License, and is a Graduate of the Steamfitters Local 602 Apprenticeship School.
John Morrissey, Vice President of Operations , has 22 years of experience in the HVAC industry. He shares responsibility for business development and maintaining existing customer relationships. In addition, John is in charge of overseeing estimates, project management and oversea field service technicians. He has his Maryland HVAC/R Journeyman’s License and Maryland Home Improvement Contractor’s License, as well as being a Plumbing Journeyman certified in welding and medical gas piping. John graduated from the Steamfitters Local 602 Apprenticeship School.
